After starting ENTER™ and reaching the welcome page, clicking buttons or the menu causes ENTER™ to freeze.
Possible cause for the error
Something went went wrong last time ENTER™ was running, corrupting some temporarily stored files.
- Close ENTER™.
- In some rare cases ENTER™ has not properly terminate and its process is still running even though the program seems to have shut down. Open the task manager (Start menu, type "task" and choose the Task manager), switch to the Details tab and scroll down to rptas_enter64.exe. Right click on it and choose "End task". (If there are more than one rptas_enter64.exe in the list, then do this for all of them).
- Then delete the cache which can be found in C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\.enter\version number\var\cache
- Note that ENTER™ v2.4.0 is in a "version number" subfolder: 2.2, instead of 2.4
- Start ENTER™ again, and if this does not work, then try to delete C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\.enter\version number\, and not just the var\cache subfolder.
